We are a not-for-profit network of impact investors
and impact ecosystem builders in Vietnam.
Vietnam Impact Investing Network (VIIN) was founded in 2022 by MYSC, CSIP, Beacon Fund and Fulbright University with the hopes to push boundaries for impact investing's development in Vietnam. We are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit and exclusive network of impact investors and impact ecosystem builders in Vietnam.
Build a network of IIs and familiarity with each other’s operations so as to understand technical/management topics that members can support each other with (either in group setting or 1-1) and to enhance informal pipeline sharing on non-competitive basis.
Build connections between IIs and facilitators/networks/ecosystem builders (eg. NGOs, accelerator programmes, donors, philanthropists etc.)
Promote the awareness of impact investing among Social Impact Business, facilitate their connection with potential investors and provide guidance to effective collaboration with impact investors
Consider how to build investment readiness of “impact-led business” (i.e. many of these have no capital raising strategy), and how to build impactfulness of “business with impact”, including via sharing on technical issues and consultants/technical support organisations/service providers to both Impact Investors and to investees.
Grow overall profile of Impact Investing in Vietnam, by showcasing the funds and investees (‘be a single platform to showcase IIs and the types of investment they are making’), in order to attract a) more capital and b) impact-led businesses to seek funding and growth (and more impact!). (maybe by building a VIIN portal).
Through the above activities, deliver personal development for young professionals in impact investing space. By participating in this group, each member has the chance to learn and exchange knowledge & network with other VIINs. Collectively, we aim to build a professional, high-standard impact investing sector In Vietnam VIIN sector in Vietnam.
